The Supers demolished Diamond Valley by 89-points in a clinical display in which Michael Salloum kicked 5 and was well supported by Ash Flavel, Fab Carelli and Tony Lombardi (making a welcome return) with 3 a-piece. Duane Bruni celebrated his 50th game for the club with 2-goals.
Mick Noble led the way with an 8-goal haul as the Reserves controlled their match from start to finish and simply outran and outplayed their opponents running out winners by 111-points. Adam Lewis also hit the scoreboard with 5-goals.
There are no certainties in football and both teams, third and third respectively, will need to be at their best to finish off the good work and lock away a finals berth in the final round. The Supers will also be looking to go back to back in the annual “Love Me, Love You” Cup against Ascot Vale.
The injury struck Over 50’s battle hard against tough opposition eventually going down by 54-points.
